Director Operations DACH (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Diverse & exciting

  • Technical and disciplinary responsibility for the project and service managers of our Swiss branch as well as for the two Berlin-based teams Implementation & Customer Service Hardware and Implementation & Customer Service Software, each with their own department heads (approx. 16 employees in total)
  • Planning, setting up and further developing cross-departmental structures and processes with regards to customer satisfaction as well as monitoring the implementation
  • Standardizing and automating customer service processes to optimize the customer experience
  • Planning and managing the strategic and conceptual direction of the operational areas in a cost-conscious way
  • Taking on and managing important customer projects in Switzerland (such as Swiss Federal Railways or Stadler)
  • Cooperating closely with the hardware and software development departments to ensure a good 3rd level support as well as the sales department

Good qualities

that you bring along

  • University degree in a technical-economic field, e.g. engineering management
  • Relevant professional and managerial experience in a similar position with verifiable successes in the above mentioned areas of responsibility as well as market knowledge in the company's business segments
  • Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting, consulting and conflict competence in combination with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm as well as service and solution orientation
  • A confident manner when dealing with customers, suppliers as well as internal and external partners
  • Intercultural competences as well as excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Willingness to go on multi-day business trips at home and abroad as well a category B driver's license
