Test Engineer/QA Manager Embedded Software (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Diverse & exciting

  • Supporting our quality assurance in testing devices with embedded software
  • Verifying and validating our functional high-quality and technologically interesting products as well as maintaining and further developing our test systems.
  • Analyzing requirements and deriving test cases including conception, planning and coordination of all test activities
  • Scans You are responsible for executing tests during the development stage and final tests as well as vulnerability scans
  • Evaluating and documenting test results, listing the errors that occur during operation (defect management)
  • Based on this, proposing solutions and giving recommendations for commissioning

Good qualities

that you bring along

  • University degree in (technical) computer sciences, electrical engineering, engineering science or similar
  • Basic knowledge in software development (e.g. C/C++, C#, scripting languages)
  • Several years of practical experience in creating test specifications and executing tests
  • Hands-on experience with network protocols and network management (e.g. TCP, Http, DHCP, NTP)
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners such as OpenVAS
  • Good knowledge of current test technologies and tools, such as Jira, SpiraTeam
  • Professional use of MS Office tools (document templates, style sheets, calculations, etc.)
  • Structured and results-oriented way of working, independent and proactive with a high level of quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills in German and English as well as a true team player
