To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a
System Engineer for Production Tools and Embedded Systems (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
Diverse & exciting
- Develop, maintain, and optimize internal production, testing, and QA tools (e.g., flash utilities, configuration software, automated test systems)
- Integrate software tools into production workflows (e.g., via scripting, APIs, and databases)
- Provide technical support for embedded device development, including firmware, communications, and configuration
- Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and embedded development teams
- Document new tools and train production staff in their use
Good qualities
that you bring along
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Ideally 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and high-level languages such as Python
- Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux, Yocto, Git, and Docker
- A self-driven, project-focused work style with a proactive, confident approach
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
