How Mein Outlet & Shopping-Center Bremerhaven analyzes what excites their customers on a daily basis
What we did
For the management of the Mein Outlet & Shopping Center Bremerhaven the customer experience is the key to success. To improve it, they need to measure it and visitor numbers are an important indicator. Initially, daily visitor numbers were estimated after the center reopened in 2020. However, this data was not accurate enough and too incomplete for analytical purposes.
Therefore DILAX was tasked with equipping the two main entrances of the center as well as 40 stores with an innovative people counting system. For collecting and analyzing the counting data from the sensors, the management also invested in the DILAX Enumeris analysis software. In close cooperation with their customer, the DILAX team adapted the reporting to the specific requirements for managing an outlet center. With Enumeris they could analyze various KPI's such as:
- Totals visitor numbers
- Conversion & capture rate
- Number of transactions & sold items
- Units per transaction
- Average sale
- Turnover per square meter

About Mein Outlet & Shopping-Center
Mein Outlet & Shopping Center Bremerhaven is located in the lively Havenwelten tourist center. Originally, the center was opened as shopping center "Mediterraneo" in 2008. Twelve years later, AVW Immobilien AG decided to convert the center into an outlet center and reopened it as an outlet center in 2020 after renovations.
For anyone wanting to go shopping and dining, the center is the place to be. The more than 40 stores on 10,000 m2 of retail space include a varied mix of brands and sectors. The large piazza has an outdoor terrace and various inviting dining options.
