Anna Amalia Library in Leipzig, Germany

Following major renovation, the Anna Amalia Library was opened in Leipzig at the end of 2007 with state-of-the-art security technology. One of the many high-tech systems installed in the building was a DILAX counting system, which provides a continuous flow of data on visitor numbers.

Subway stations in Lausanne, Switzerland

In 2008, the Lausanne public transport authority TL expanded its wide range of services with the new subway line “m2”. DILAX was chosen as the system supplier to outfit all of the subway stations on the new line with passenger counting systems. A data management system developed specifically for the customer allows for the measurement of passengers in real time. With the data it obtains, TL is able to adjust and optimize headways.

Railway stations of the Canada Line/Vancouver, Canada

Westinghouse Rail Systems Limited (WRSL) commissioned DILAX to plan and implement one of the largest and most comprehensive passenger counting systems in North America. A specially developed system allows for the exact counting of 100,000 people every day, at 16 stations and over a distance of 19 kilometers. Canada Line went into operation in the second half of 2009, shortly before the scheduled Winter Olympic Games in 2010 in Vancouver.
