The public transport company in Lausanne “transport publics de la region lausannoise” (TL) plans to open a new metro line “m2” in 2008. DILAX Intelcom AG Switzerland has been selected as a turnkey supplier to equip all the stations of this trendsetting line with a people counting system. A DILAX software analyses the counted data and is subsequently able to support TL to optimise the metro’s cycle times as well as to redistribute all budgets.
