Metro Roma travels with DILAX Print

The first train, among the 6 included, has been equipped with a passenger counting system, fully automatic and autonomous and is now operating. All 6 trains will be managed by an autonomous and fully automatic back office data management system within the third quarter of this year. The aim of the project is to save the expenses that are usually set aside for the manual counting and obviously to improve the quality of the offered service.

The company was found 1988 based on an idea which has its seeds in the liberalisation and privatisation of the telecommunication and transportation. 20 years later DILAX is established with its own subsidiaries and distribution companies in Europe and America. Nearly 60 employees are working worldwide on duty of our loyal customers and guarantee a high-quality passenger and people counting system. We congratulate the founders and employees to their twenties anniversary.

DILAX organised a customer training with 30 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The event took place from the 7th to the 8th of November in Potsdam’s congress hotel “Am Templiner See”. It was possible to attend one training for the data management system Davis2000 which was separated in a basic and advanced level. Further DILAX offered an introduction to the data reporting software DavisWEB. During the evening the customers joined a guided tour and visited the museum in the Russian settlement Alexandrowska. Afterwards everybody enjoyed a Russian buffet and evening in the Café Matschke.

 
Reopening Anna Amalia library with DILAX counting system Print

After the 2004 roof fire in the main building, the Ana Amalia library was rebuilt over three years including modern safety features and equipment. The reopening will take place on the 24th of October 2007. Among other high-tech equipment, a DILAX people counting system will continuously provide visitor counts to the library staff.

 
Wiener Linien Print

Vienna underground railway lines now use DILAX to count its passengers. Having conducted successful test operations, DILAX has succeeded in acquiring a new customer in the form of the Viennese underground railway lines “Wiener Linien” and in doing so saw off our main competitors. The project involves equipping a total of 20 underground railway vehicles with slave-based systems.
